The agency provides various services to stakeholders based on the needs of the time. These services are provided at a low cost to enable stakeholders to focus on better grain storage that can help protect the quality of grain and reduce the operating costs of other services. The following are some of the Services provided by the Agency;
i. Rental of warehouses;
The agency rents existing warehouses in its Zones for storage based on the specific needs of the lessees. The opportunity to rent warehouses is available when the warehouses do not have food stock kept by the Agency.
ii. Weight measurement;
The service of measuring the weight of cargo vehicles is provided at a low cost through scales installed in the areas of Chang'ombe (Mbozi road), Kipawa, Makambako, Songea (Ruhuwiko), Songwe (Tazara/Ichenjezya area), Sumbawanga (Mazwi), Mpanda , Shinyanga, Dodoma (Kizota) and Arusha (Themi).
iii. Advice on storage, spraying and fumigation of grain in warehouses;
The agency has experts who specialize in grain conservation issues. These experts can be used to provide education on best storage methods, especially in treating/protecting grains stored in warehouses at low cost.
iv. Rental of canvas;
The agency provides the service of renting specialized tarpaulins at low cost for covering grain.
v. Providing education about grain storage;
The agency participates in various national and international events. Among these events are the participation of Sabasaba, Nanenane, World Food Day and other special meetings. During these events, the agency provides education about grain storage for free as part of its contribution to community development, especially the agricultural sector.
vi. Conference Hall Rental;
The agency has meeting rooms in some of its offices. This hall is rented at a low cost and is located in the Offices of the Agency's Headquarters - Kizota, Dodoma. The hall has the capacity to serve a number of approximately 100 people depending on the seating arrangement
